ADVANTAGES OF THE EUCALYPTUS MDF FROM PLACAS DO BRASIL

The MDF from reforested eucalyptus wood has conquered carpentry workshops and furniture industries throughout the country. Its characteristics and advantages are important issues in the production of home and office furniture, as they guarantee excellent quality and durability, as well as easier machining and drilling. And why? The type of fiber, which comes from eucalyptus, is more compact and robust, which makes it more resistant to cracks and breaks. Therefore, the hole is perfect and well defined, allowing for a perfect fit, better furniture assembly, firmer grip of the screws and less breakage while fastening. Wood fibers are intertwined and shorter, which prevents the formation of rough surfaces and facilitates sanding, machining and painting. Its hardness, structural potential and all the above advantages mean that the eucalyptus MDF is the right choice for all projects, since it guarantees a perfect final product, with a smooth surface.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

In order for the eucalyptus MDF to maintain its high quality and continue to become excellent products, care must be taken regarding its use. Due to its characteristics, it is suitable for home interiors. As it is an organic product, mold may appear on it. Therefore, it must be kept in dry and ventilated places and protected against the action of bad weather.

When storing material, a storage place protected against the action of bad weather is recommended.

The handling of MDF panels should ideally be carried out with forklifts or similar equipment, always making sure that the shims are aligned and that the number of boards is maintained, even after opening the packages. When storing the panels, it is recommended to keep them in their original packaging, grouped in pallets, horizontally and on a flat floor. In the form of pallets, they are identified by labels to maintain product quality control. In this way, they can be tracked in case of product claims.

Once these recommendations are followed, the eucalyptus MDF will be used as best as it can, which will result in increased productivity, while retaining its excellent attributes.
